Kara Theresa Design offers a true partnership from initial concept through final installation. Every project begins with a deep understanding of the family, the lifestyle, and the vision — then every detail is handled from there.

Full-service design includes:

— Client meetings to discuss scope, budget, and vision
— Architectural CAD drawings including floor plans, lighting plans, elevations, and custom furniture drawings
— Personalized Design Books updated after every meeting, with before photos, inspiration images, furniture layouts, and all finish selections
— Site visits and full coordination with builders, subcontractors, and architects
— Selection and purchasing of all furniture, fabric, rugs, hardware, wall coverings, lighting, tile, art, and accessories
— Storage management and installation coordination

A minimum of three rooms is required for this service. The preference is whole-home projects — this is where the design truly coheres and the work is at its best.

  • Yes, we offer in-home design consultations where we'll walk through your space, discuss your goals, and learn about your needs, lifestyle, and vision for the project. Following the consultation, we'll prepare a customized design proposal based on the project's scope and requirements.

    Our full-service design projects typically have a minimum scope of three rooms. However, every project is unique, so we encourage you to reach out. We'd be happy to discuss your needs and determine whether we're the right fit for your project.

  • The earlier the better! When working on a new build or addition, we like to collaborate with the architect from the get go. Even if you are still in the planning stages and need to assemble your team, our insights can be invaluable and we can always help assemble a power team to help bring your vision to life. 

  • Absolutely. We are open to working with anyone on your team you have already hired. That being said, we cannot speak to the quality of anyone's work or important aspects of their process (like their communication, for example) if we haven't worked together previously. We have contractors and builders we love and return to project after project and are happy to make recommendations if you need it.
